Sometimes, you get stuck in the same routine every weekend. There are a million errands to run and some type of excuse for not going out. Whether it's money, the time it takes to "get ready" or just not feeling like venturing too far, I challenge you to push yourself to get out there and have yourselves a KICK-ASS date night!
Joe and I LOVE the city. We are about a 45 minute drive from Philly so it's not right around the corner but when we make the trip we are never disappointed. There is always a new place to eat, awesome sites to see and so many fun date-night things to do! I have been wanting to check out Photo Pop Philly all summer so around 3:30pm on Saturday afternoon we decided to head down and check it out! For those of you who are not familiar, it's Philly's first pop up exhibit with interactive art. It's only opened until labor day weekend and is a super fun thing to do, especially on rainy day! Also, it's kid friendly!!
We basically killed two birds with one stone; had a perf little date night & got some great pics for the blog :)
After Photo Pop, we met a few friends for dinner near buy (@ Bleu Sushi which is bomb!!) and called it quits around 11:30pm.
I woke up this morning so happy that we ventured out on a crappy day and turned it into an exciting date night. These are the nights that I live for. Wandering around and just having fun with with my hubs. For anyone in the philly area, I rounded up 10, date night activities for your and your babe to do next weekend.
1. Photo Pop Philly
2. Eat your way through Reading Terminal Market
4. Go to a pop-up beer garden
5. Spend the day at Spruce Street Harbor Park
6. Get ice cream at Franklin Fountain (seriously the BEST!!)
7. Sip some wine at a local winery
8. Visit Stoneleigh natural garden and have a picnic
9. Book a cooking class at Sur La Table
10. Find an Escape the Room near you!
